After the immensely stylish generational update we saw for the 2013 model year, we knew that Toyota would most likely preserve the 2014 RAV4's exterior design changes. Luckily for us, the automaker has included some new goodies, and with the crossover shortly to arrive in our Medford, OR showroom, it's about time we got you acquainted.
The big change with the 2014 update is all on the technological end, and we don't mind. With its sleek front end and body lines, and its sense of presence, we have to say we're just as smitten with this year's model's look as we were last year.
So what kind of new tech are we looking at? The next-generation Entune infotainment system, for one. The automaker has gone all out with this system, and is introducing it to a whole slew of new Toyota models over the course of year, such as the Camry, Corolla, and others. It will offer drivers more apps, improved functionality, and voice recognition.
The cabin will feature a 6.1-inch screen on the center console to house Entune, as well as the RAV4's back up camera. Audio entertainment will come by way of a six speaker sound system, which also supports iPod integration.
The 2014 RAV4 will see the smallest of price jumps for this model year, with the base starting at $23,550--just 1.1 percent more than it was in 2013.
