The Safety Sense P system combines an in-vehicle camera and a front-grille mounted radar system that provides you with a number of intuitive safety features like: Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Automatic High Beams, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. The Pre-Collision System uses said camera and radar technology to monitor the vehicle ahead of you, and if it detects a potential collision, will provide you with an audio and visual warning, and if you fail to respond on time, the system will apply the brakes for you. Lane Departure Alert will warn you if it detects you're swerving out of your lane at a speed of over 32 mph. Automatic High Beams will turn on and off during the night and they detect it's safe to do so, while Dynamic Radar Cruise Control will monitor the vehicle ahead of you and maintain a safe distance from the vehicle automatically.
